Whirly Bird Made it to New Jersey

Once Upon a Time a girl dreamed of becoming an artist so she could be free to say and paint what she was feeling. This impulse stayed with her all her life. It gave her great joy and great grief. Her creativity came in spurts. Sometimes it was not visible, but it was always there.

Symbols spoke to her. Colors sang out. Life took her in unexpected directions. She felt close to women who had loved and died long ago. A mystic believes in the spiritual apprehension of truths that are beyond the intellect. Am I a mystic? I know for sure I am an artist.
